About

Greetings from the entire gang at BACCOMIX. “We” all agreed that it was time to try our hand at launching our own site. Our collection has slowly grown over the years, from the first Tales of Tickle Torture to our more recent release of the Laughing Pine series. It has been quite a journey. With your continued support and input the collection and our community will continue to grow and flourish. Many Thanks to all!
A SHORT HISTORY OF BONDAGE AND TICKLING ART
Fetish culture became mainstream with the rise of the punk movement. I remember watching in amusement and distain as many of my art school peers suddenly abandoned their Izod shirts and khaki’s for safety pins, leather and bondage hardware. These were fruitful times.
The republished works of Irving Klaw, featuring Betty Page and comic artists John Willie, Eric Stanton, Adolfo Ruiz and Gene Bilbrew (aka Eneg) were being advertised in Playboy and Penthouse. I had become an avid collector and was beginning to work these themes into my own artwork.
A friend of mine published an off campus underground music and fetish rag and saw some of my drawings and asked me if I wanted to draw for his magazine. The core illustrations that became the foundation for BACCOMIX, were executed as one panel spots that parodied various fetish genres. A panel titled “Tales of Tickle Torture” sparked quite a few letters to the editor. I began to think I was onto something.
Quality tickling and foot fetish material was next to non-existent at the time. Enthusiasts traded photo-copied drawings, photos and occasionally got letters published in the mainstream magazines, but there wasn’t anyone producing good material about this subject… So I decided to try my hand at creating a comic book that featured foot fetishism, bondage and tickling. Tales of Tickle Torture #1 was scribbled out in a matter of days and not knowing what to do with it, I stuffed it in a portfolio and went on my merry way.
After art school, as a starving graphic designer, I found myself low on cash… So I pulled out the TTT #1 comic and decided to try to see if there was really a market for this type of work. I sold the first copies through an ad in Fetish Times in 1984. Shortly after the ad ran I returned to my PO box to find it was packed with orders. And the rest is history.
BONDAGE AND TICKLING ART TODAY
The popularity of this kink has grown exponentially over the years as more and more people are creating content for this hungry audience. Today there are many fine publishers of tickle and foot fetish comic books on the web. I support and salute them all for doing their part to help the genre grow. I encourage you to do the same.
I realize that you have a choice when you decide to purchase this type of material, so I will always strive to improve and evolve the formula that has made my work appealing over the years. The frequency of my publication schedule may not be as prolific as others in the space, but I will continue to create these comix in my quest to achieve my ultimate goal: To create a story and graphic novelette good enough to become a Quentin Tarantino movie.
Thanks again to all who have collected, collaborated and commented on my work over the years. We’ve had quite a few laughs and with your continued support and patronage, we will have many more to come.
